Chapter 2 Update
Page 2-21, first column, second paragraph, LAX and SAN should be reversed in the first sentence and in the last sentence as shown below:
"Figure 37 shows an airplane flying from a low pressure area toward a high pressure area (in the opposite direction of our flight from SAN to LAX). The airplane maintains a constant indicated altitude of 3,000 feet without updating its altimeter setting. The airplane follows the 26.15” pressure level, which slopes upward as the high pressure area over SAN is approached. With the altimeter set too low, it will read too low and you will be higher than you intend to be. The indicated altitude will be 3,000 feet but you will actually be 4,000 feet above sea level when over SAN."

The insert on the top of Page 5-39 should show the small red airplanes about two degrees to the right of the 190 degree inbound course and the 350 degree outbound radial, respectively.
